Parents' Night Out (ages 6 mo.* - 8 yrs)


Are you looking for a kid free evening? Why scramble for a sitter when you can bring your kids to the YMCA for Parents’ Night Out? Want to check out that restaurant you’ve heard so much about? Catch a movie? Enjoy a romantic evening together? Hang out with friends? Or just have a quiet night in? Parents’ Night out is a great way for your kids to have fun and make new friends through a variety of age-appropriate, themed activities.
*PNO is available for children age 6 mo. - 2 yrs. at the East & Manlius branches ONLY. PNO at North is for children age 2-8 yrs.


6 WEEKS - 3 YEARS (PRIME TIME)*

The little ones will enjoy activities in the Prime Time Center and gym. We will have songs, games, and crafts, as well as free play in the gym for the toddlers. We will provide a light, healthy snack (infants should be sent with bottle/sippy cup and age appropriate snack). This age group will not be swimming. Children should come prepared with sneakers, play clothes, diaper bag, and extra clothes.


4 YEARS – 7 YEARS (CLUB ROOM)

Children create a themed craft, play structured gym games, splash in the pool, and wind-down with a movie. We will provide a light, healthy snack. Children should come prepared with swimsuit/towel, sneakers, and play clothes. Children who wish to participate in swimming must come with their swimsuit under their clothes and a change of dry clothes.


8 YEARS – 11 YEARS (TWEEN SCENE/POWERZONE)

Youth will hang-out with their friends in the Power Zone where they can play board games, air hockey or make a craft. Then they can get their energy out in the gym while playing structured games like “Capture the Flag” and dodgeball. Whether your child wants to splash around in the water or race down the slide, they are sure to have fun in the pool! They will end their evening with an age-appropriate movie and a light healthy snack provided by the YMCA. Youth who wish to participate in swimming must come with their swimsuit on under their clothes and a change of dry clothes. Youth should come prepared with swimsuit/towel, sneakers, and play clothes.
